Vancouver hair models on Commercial Drive. I saw these models as a metaphor for the change currently happening in Vancouver in preparation for hosting the Olympics. I am curious to see if Commerical Drive will become the new East Hastings

I took this on the 16th green of Bearspaw Country Club golf course in Calgary. I was attracted to the monochromatic textures

 

multiple pieces of a drawing attached and mounted on the side of a building on east hastings st. in Vancouver. I was attracted to the size of the reproduction in context to the environment it was placed in.

 

This is one of my first pictures taken with a digital SLR camera. I was on a school trip in 2005 just outside of Banff in the bush

Taken on east hastings street in Vancouver. He saw my camera around my neck and we started talking. I asked if I could take his picture and he became excited because he hadn’t had his picture taken in years. He pulled a comb out of his back pocket and started combing his hair to look handsome.

 

They were grooming the Vipers baseball field after a late night practise in Calgary. I took this picture laying on the grass in the outfield.
